FIRE AND SAFETY
Why Fire and Safety?
Fires destroy property, cause injuries, and take innocent lives and the livelihood of workers. Fire safety training can teach workers how to recognize fire hazards, conduct a fire safety risk assessment, prevent a workplace fire, and respond if a fire occurs. In fire and safety course, Fire Safety trains students about the legislated fire safety responsibilities of the employer and the worker, describes safe work practices related to fire prevention, and provides practical information about emergency response in situations involving fire at work place.
Why Industrial Safety?
Industrial safety refers to the management of all operations and events within an industry in order to protect its employees and assets by minimizing hazards, risks, accidents, and near misses. Industrial safety is overseen by federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Industrial safety is important as it safeguards human life, especially in high risk areas such as nuclear, aircraft, chemical, oil and gases, and mining industries, where a fatal mistake can be catastrophic. Industrial Safety reduces risks to people, and processes.
